Job Duties :
Apply paint, wallpapers, and other finishing stuff on the inner and outer surfaces of buidings and other formations.
To read specifications to determine quantities of materials required.
Mix and thin paint to obtain desired colour and texture.
Advice customers on choice of colours, wall coverings and paint material.
Remove old wallpaper and loose paint, repair cracks and holes in walls and
sandpaper and apply sealer.
Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding,
sandblasting, hydro-blasting and steam-cleaning.
Repair cracks and holes.
Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
Use brush/rollers and paint spray in an organized way.
