Job Description:

The Concrete Breaker (NOC 7611) is responsible for completing a variety of job tasks involving the use of concrete to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects.
Job Duties:
Erect and dismantle concrete forms, Mix, pour and spread concrete, Assist tradespersons such as cement finisher in construction activities, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment.Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel, operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed, Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Weight Handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Salary and Benefits:

Hourly competitive base salary based on experience, starting at $15.00/hour Full time, permanent employment and the New Brunswick minimum overtime rate after 44 hours per week.

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate minimum
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation & Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence, Public transportation is not available
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Overtime required
