Duties:

• To Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electric controls.
• Troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment.
• Repair and maintain existing equipment.
• Maintain, test, and repair electrical motors, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• Read blueprints and electrical codes to determine the layout of equipment installations.
• Clean circuit boards to ensure that they function properly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep the records.
• Repair and test switchboard meters, regulators, and transformers.
• Ensure proper functioning of the electrical devices. These include oiling and lubricating these devices at regular intervals, replacing old wiring with new ones.
