Screening and monitoring for DR (Diabetic Retinopathy) is time-consuming, requiring trained clinicians to evaluate digital-colored photographs of the back of the eye (retinal fundus images) to indicate the presence and stage of retinopathy.

 

Automated image processing may reduce or eliminate the need for human grading, decrease the costs of screening, and increase its accessibility.

 

At Vision AI, we created a deep learning algorithm to screen for diabetic retinopathy, saving on time and human resources.

 

Our company is currently looking for a Systems Architect.

 

Job duties

• Research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems
• Collect and document user's requirements and develop logical and physical specifications
• Plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems
• Review business and data requirements and interpret these into an architectural design that is aligned to the clients target state architecture.
• Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to capability and product teams right from the idea creation stage, identifying also technical issues/risks and definition of mitigation approaches.
• Lead and co-ordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems, process control software and other embedded software control systems

 

Skill Requirement:

• Completion of a college program
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field
• Demonstrated and exceptional leadership skills

 

Compensation:

$48-55/Hour
