Job Duties:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by the chef
  • Supervise kitchen helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Set up and oversee buffets
  • Clean kitchen and work area
  • Train kitchen helpers
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

 Job Requirements include:

  • Hands-on mentality to line work
  • Strong work ethic and aptitude to multitask
  • Attitude to learn with a ‘can-do’ approach
  • Excellent communication skills with co-workers, front of house staff and supervisors
  • Genuine culinary interest
  • Strict adherence to following COVID protocols for safe cooking and food preparation

 Educational Requirement: at least K-12; graduates of culinary courses are preferred

Work Experience Requirement: - At least 1 year of experience as a line cook
