Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Location: 16030 Central Avenue, Inverness, Nova Scotia

Job Duties:

• Direct and control the operations of the restaurant, bar, and banquet area
• Oversee staff training
• Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Help control inventory and monitor revenues
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Assist the restaurant manager(s) with arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities for banquets or wedding receptions, seminars or meetings

 

Job Requirements include:

• Hands-on mentality to line work
• Strong work ethic and aptitude to multi – task
• Attitude to learn with a ‘can-do’ approach
• Excellent communication skills with co-workers, front of house staff and managers
• Strict adherence to following COVID protocols for safe dining and entertainment

 

Educational Requirement: at least K-12; graduates hotel. restaurant or culinary programss are preferred

Work Experience Requirement: - 1 to 2 years of experience
