Coach (NOC: 5252)
Job Description:
· Instruction of Taekwondo in group classes at all levels of experience and ages
· Private lessons for Students
· Prepare and arrange for Competitions: in house, locally, regionally, nationally
· Assist parents and students in developing appropriate training and competition
schedules
· Demonstrate and instruct with activities and techniques
· Plan and structure lessons and activities
· Instruct groups and individuals, and lead groups and individuals in recreation or leisure
programs
· Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency
first aid assistance when required.
· Enforce safety rules and regulations
· Assist with coordination of special events
· Schedule activities, keep lots, maintain records, and prepare reports
· Train existing coaches and any new recruits hired
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $22.00 hourly for 30 hours per week.
Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation.
Qualifications/ Skills/ Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience: 2-3 Years or more experience as a Taekwondo Coach
- Credentials: Taekwondo 4th Dan certificate or above from Kukkiwon/ Taekwondo master certificate of qualification from Kukkiwon
- Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
