Bar Otto is a Japanese restaurant with natural wines and sakes, located in 2695 rue Notre-Dame O., Montreal, QC, H3J 1N9 and we are looking for a full-time cook who can work with us.

 

• Wage: $16 - 19/h (to be negotiated)
• Working hours per week: 40 hrs
• Employment period: 2 years

 

Job description

• Prepare starters such as salads, Tempuras (fried dish), beef tartare, etc. including different sauces according to each dish
• Prepare and cook our noodle menu consisting of Ramens and Mazemens
• Assist the chef by dressing different types of raw fish and preparing rice for sushis and sahimis
• Participate in preparation activities, e.g., vegetables, broths, sauces, etc.
• Maintain the food inventory by checking the movement of goods
• Make sure the kitchen, including all appliances and utensils, is clean
• Share general knowledge of Japanese cuisine with other employees

 

Requirements

• Completion of Secondary education
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Japanese cuisine
• Must speak French or English
• Must be available for working in the evening and weekend
