Job Responsibilities
- Conduct sales transactions through the cash out till
- Assist in display of merchandise
- Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
- Maintain sales records for inventory control
- Arrange merchandise and ensure products in date
- Provide advice about merchandise
- Operate computerized inventory record keeping system
- Operate cash register
- Offloading deliveries and arranging to storage
- Keeping the store tidy and clean
