Life Skill Instructor

 

 

• Develop and implement lesson plans for life skills subjects
• Supervise groups, and manage behavioural challenges
• Teach topics like proper hygiene and appropriate social interaction.
• Meet with clients to assess their progress, give support and discuss any difficulties or problems
• Assess clients' relevant skill strengths and needs
• Participate in the selection and admission of clients to appropriate programs
• Manage the physical needs of students
• Address cognitive remediation, social skills training and functional communication
• Follow workplace safety procedures and by-law regulations

 

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
