Surdell-Kennedy Taxi Ltd. provides 24/7 taxi service. We provide you with trained drivers to accommodate any transportation needs across the city of Surrey, South Surrey, Delta, Annacis Island, Tilbury Park, Port Kells and YVR Airport. We are looking for a Dispatcher to join our team.
Position: Dispatcher
Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time (40 hours weekly)
Vacancies: 1 position
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $29.00/Hourly
Language: English
Qualification: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: No Experience needed. Training will be provided.
Location: Unit 209 - 12815 85 Avenue Surrey B.C, V3W 0K8
Dispatcher (NOC 1525) will have to perform all of these duties:
- Maintain computer and manual records of mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, and generate report.
- Perform general office duties
- Provide customer service.
- Monitor personnel workloads and locations
- Maintain vehicle operator work records using computerized or manual methods.
- Make time sheets and payroll summaries accurately
- Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems
- Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations
- Operate computer-aided communications and dispatching equipment
- Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
Additional Skills:
Must have MS Windows, spreadsheet, word processing software, Electronic mail, Electronic scheduler, database software.
