MOTOR VEHICLE BODY REPAIRERS NOC 7322

 

 

Job Description

• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed;
• Repair and replace body components, doors and frame and underbody components;
• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields and windows
• Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets, floorboard insulation and other related task as deemed proper by the Supervisor;
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling;
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
• Mix paint, blend and match colors;

Employment Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• College, high school or industry courses combined with several years of related work experience in Electrical or Carpentry or Plumbing (Automotive or Industrial) or Several years of on-the-job training are required.
• Experience with RV and/or Trailer repairs is an asset
• Good diagnostic skills
• Good attitude
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and with minimal supervision

Wage: Cad$ 25.48 per hour

Work Location: Abbotsford, British Columbia

Employment Terms: Permanent Employment, Full time: 40 hours per week
