Physiotherapy Assistant

 

 

1 Full-time permanent Physiotherapy Assistant ( NOC 3237 ) position available at Van Rehab Physiotherapy, located at 109-9886, Torbram Rd., Brampton, ON, - L6S 3L9 Canada:

 Main Duties to be completed as per the NOC 3237:

• Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate equipment,
• Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients,
• Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities,
• Examine adult clients
• Clean and maintain equipment,
• Document patient rehabilitation progress,
• Perform various administrative functions,
• Schedule and confirm appointments,
• Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history

 Employment requirements

• Completion of College/ CEGEP
• Previous one year of experience is required.

Compensation:

 $20 per hour for 37.50 hours weekly. Overtime starts after 44 hours
