Cancoil Thermal Corporation is one of the fastest growing manufacturers of commercial refrigeration products across North America.
We are looking to fill in two position of a Fin Press Operator with the company. The positions are full-time, permanent (willing to consider part-time workers as well), with a minimum of 40 hours per week, compensated at $44,140 CAD per annum.
A successful candidate must be able to communicate in English; previous experience in the manufacturing / production environment is an asset.
Successful candidate will work at the Cancoil facility in Kingston, Ontario, and will be performing the following duties:
- review work orders and drawings to understand requirements of the job;
- select fin material from stock as per the work order and load it onto the appropriate fin press;
- set up fin press as required for the job, including removing and re-installing the slitter, lance and heater slot units, setting catcher forks etc.;
- add lubricant and perform other basic maintenance procedures as required;
- oversee the production process to ensure proper operation of the press;
- organize work space by assembling coils, fins, parts and tools;
- expected to work in a controlled plant environment with high noise levels and will be required to perform such actions as standing, bending and lifting; personal protective equipment such as safety eyeglasses and boots are mandatory with emphasis on the usage of gloves and ear protection.
Must be available to work shifts as required.
