Position: Patent Translator
Position Available: 1
Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent
Wage: $27.28 per hour, for 30 hours per week
Benefit: 10 vacation days, health spending account benefit, transit pass reimbursement

Job Duties:
- Translate patent applications, patent specifications, claims, abstract, drawings and publications from Japanese to English, maintaining the content, context and style of the original material to the greatest extent possible
- Check translation quality done by other translators
- Research various subject fields in patent documents
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements:
Education: University degree in technical/science field
Work Experience: At least two years of translator
Language: English and Japanese
