Requirements:
• Completion of Post secondary education
• 3 or more years of related work experience

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other construction workers and subcontractors
• Select, schedule and coordinate subcontractor activities
• Supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and work timetable
• Oversee contracts and negotiations
• Prepare regular reports with updates on projects
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolutions
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes and other regulations
