• Job duties:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Supervise kitchen helpers
  • Manage kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Inspect and clean kitchen and work area
  • Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • May hire and train kitchen staff

 

• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 to 40 hours/week)
• Language of work: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Wage: $15.00 to $18.00/hour (to be negotiated)

• skills requirements:
  
• 1 year to less than 2 years experience in preparing and cooking Japanese cuisine (ex> stir fry with wok, preparing broth for Ramen, making dumplings by hand, etc.)
