Job Duties:
- Interpret welding process specifications and procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work orders.
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment to fabricate and repair truck frames, bodies, and components.
- Perform MIG, TIG, stick welding, and other welding processes as required.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment for metal repair and fabrication.
- Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
- Set up and operate previously adjusted welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and truck components.
- Operate brazing and soldering equipment to bond metal, fill holes, repair cracks, and seal seams.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine inspections and minor repairs.
- Ensure proper safety procedures are followed, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep work area clean and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist with general shop duties as required.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail in the repair of truck and trailer body parts.
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills and strong English proficiency
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities in the repair shop
- Reliable team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
- Work performed in a truck repair shop specializing in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, structural repairs, and metal fabrication.
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Demonstrates strong client focus and professionalism when dealing with customers and team members.
- Well-organized and punctual, with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Hardworking and dependable, with attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Salary: $36.00 to 40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
