Job will be performed in the clients’ facility in BC.

 

Job Description

• Operate cleaning machines
• Wash and clean interior and exterior windows and other glass surfaces
• Vacuum floors
• Wax and polish floors
• Adhere to Safety, GMP, SSOP, WHMIS and HACCP principles
• Washing and sanitizing equipment, containers, and surfaces inside and outside the plant
• Disassembly and assembly of equipment
• Adhere to any lockout procedures and report any broken, damaged, or unsafe equipment
• Handling and mixing Industrial strength chemicals
• Operating high pressure washing, scrubbing, and sanitizing in a cold, wet environment
• Other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Work Location

• ·The office location is 936 12th Street, New Westminster, BC V3M 4K6
• ·Job will be performed in the clients’ facility in BC.

Rate of pay

• ·You will be paid $21.00 per hour.
• ·Your wages will be paid at intervals of 2 weeks.
• ·After 12 months of employment your wage will be reviewed and adjusted (if necessary) to meet the prevailing wage rate in our region.

Benefits

• ·You will be entitled to Two (2) weeks of paid vacation per annum.
• · You will be entitled to Five (5)  days of sick leave per annum.

Hours of Work

• ·Hours of work will be 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (flexible schedule).
• ·Any hour worked over 40 hours a week will be paid an overtime rate of 1.5x, the normal rate.
• ·Any hours worked over 12 hours a day will be paid the rate of twice the normal rate.
