Wage and Hours

• Wage: $17.85 per hour
• Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Work Setting

• On-site position — work must be performed at the physical farm location
• Outdoor agricultural environment
• Exposure to wet and damp conditions

Experience

• No experience needed.

Job Duties

• Operate tractors and other farm machinery for field and nursery operations
• Attach, adjust, and operate agricultural implements and equipment
• Plant, cultivate, fertilize, and irrigate crops
• Harvest crops in accordance with quality and handling standards
• Load, unload, and transport crops, materials, and farm supplies
• Perform routine inspection, cleaning, servicing, and basic maintenance of machinery
• Maintain farm equipment, tools, and buildings in good working condition
• Perform general farm labour duties as assigned
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisor
