Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2years or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Tasks: 

• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding
• equipment
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
• Estimate costs and materials
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
