RSN Logistics Inc. provides a range of transportation and freight services, including Full Truckload, Less-Than-Truckload, import and export container transportation, flatbed transportation, refrigerated transportation, heavy-equipment transportation, and container and trailer storage.
Develop and administer business-development policies, programs and strategies to promote the company’s transportation, freight, import, export, container and storage services.
Conduct market research concerning the freight transportation, logistics, intermodal container, Full Truckload, Less-Than-Truckload, flatbed, refrigerated and heavy-equipment transportation sectors.
Design market-research questionnaires, surveys and other information-gathering tools to assess the transportation needs, service expectations and purchasing preferences of existing and prospective commercial customers.
Conduct commercial and economic surveys to assess transportation-market conditions, business-development potential, customer demand and future industry trends.
Collect and analyze information concerning freight volumes, transportation routes, customer industries, service demand, competitor activities and market conditions.
Research consumers, competitors and the transportation marketplace to identify commercial trends, service gaps and opportunities to improve the company’s business-development and marketing strategies.
Plan business-development projects and coordinate related activities with management, transportation carriers, freight terminals, warehouses, customs brokers, service providers and other commercial organizations.
Assess potential business opportunities and develop strategies to attract new commercial customers, expand the company’s service areas and establish strategic business relationships.
Review and evaluate requests for proposals, commercial service opportunities and transportation projects, and provide recommendations regarding market potential, operational feasibility and commercial viability.
Respond to inquiries from businesses and prospective commercial customers concerning the company’s transportation capabilities, freight solutions and business-development opportunities.
Conduct surveys and analyze information concerning the service-buying habits and preferences of businesses requiring Full Truckload, Less-Than-Truckload, container, refrigerated, flatbed and heavy-equipment transportation services.
Evaluate customer-service processes and the overall service experience provided to commercial customers, and recommend measures to improve service quality, customer satisfaction and client retention.
Analyze the effectiveness of promotional, marketing and business-development campaigns and recommend improvements based on customer responses, market data and commercial results.
Develop and implement business-development plans to support the introduction of new transportation services, freight solutions, customer segments and service regions.
Develop and apply e-commerce and digital business-development strategies to improve online service inquiries, commercial lead generation and customer engagement.
Maintain and update databases of prospective customers, commercial leads, industry contacts, service providers and potential business opportunities.
Prepare market-analysis reports, business-development plans, commercial assessments, research papers, presentations, statistical summaries and written recommendations for management.
Provide research-based advice to management regarding market expansion, new transportation services, commercial-development initiatives and long-term business-growth opportunities.
Maintain current knowledge of developments in the transportation, logistics, import, export, intermodal freight and commercial-shipping industries.
