Restaurant Ginza Sushi is a Japanese restaurant located in Longueuil, QC and we are looking for a full-time cook who can work with us. 

 

Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week

Wage: $17 per hour

 

Job description

• Prepare all types of sushi, including Nigiri and Maki, with raw ingredients such as salmon, tuna, eel, tilapia, etc.
• Prepare all kinds of sashimi and rolls with shrimp, flying fish, octopus, etc.
• Prepare entrees and side dishes such as salads, soups, tempurs with Japanese-style sauces
• Ensure the hygienic environment and safety in the workplace
• Share general knowledge of Japanese cuisine (especially sushi making skills) with other employees

Requirements

• Completion of Secondary education
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Japanese or Asian restaurant
• Good knowledge of sushis as well as Japanese cuisine will be a great asset
• Must speak French or English
• Must be available for working in the evening and weekend
