Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing and improving recipes
- Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, bread, cakes, muffins, scones, etc.
- Bake mixed doughs and batters
- Decorating and displaying finished products
- Operate machinery
- Decorate cakes and pastries
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
- Keeping records relating to deliveries, inventory, and production levels.
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
Required Education & Experience;
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a baker;
- Completion of a high school diploma is mandatory;
- Completion of a Baking Arts course is proffered
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills;
- English language knowledge;
- Must be available to work early mornings starting 5:30 am and weekends;
- Ability to multitask and work effectively
- Self-disciplined, eager to learn, and have a passion for the food and service industry
Pay Rate/ Salary: $17
