Administrative Officer

Job details:

Salary: $27.50 CAD Per Hour

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, 30 hours per week with overtime wage of $41.25 starting after accumulated 44 hours in a week, 1 Position Available

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: On call, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours,Overtime

Job requirements:

Languages: English is a mandatory language

Education: College, CGEP or other non- university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years

Work Conditions an.d Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Large workload

Personal Suitability: Organized, Excellent oral communication, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent written communication, Team player

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Office,MS Windows.

Specific Skills:

  1. Evaluate the existing administrative policies, assist in designing and implementing the new policies and procedure and make changes as required
  2. Manage workload by distributing tasks to each department, oversee the work progress and meet deadlines
  3. Achieve financial objectives by managing the expenses as per the annual budget of the company
  4. Maintain the digital database of the company, summarize and analyze the reports and trends and update it regularly
  5. Schedule and arrange the regular maintenance and security services of the office
  6. Minatin the office inventory and order office equipments and supplies in accordance with office needs
  7. Facilitate the completion of business activities such as government remittance, reports,licenses and other supported documentation.
  8. Supervise the work of records management technicians.
