Experienced Warehouse Supervisor

 

 

Job Duties:

1. Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities, including shipping, receiving, storing and distributing, etc.

2. Track and coordinate the receipt, storage and timely delivery of goods and materials

3. Maintain records for all warehouse activities, inventory levels and maintenance conditions

4. Ensure high level maintenance standards and compliance with any health and safety regulations

5. Perform daily inspection of the warehouse condition, schedule regular maintenance and repair with facility management team

6. Communicate and coordinate with sales, customer service and supply chain departments to ensure efficient processes and maximize warehouse productivity

7. Evaluate and train warehouse staff in work procedures and policies

8. Responsible for the usage, storage and maintenance of equipment in warehouse, ensure all equipment is properly operate

9. May perform the warehouse worker’s duty as requested

 

Requirement:

1. College diploma or University Degree in business administration, management, logistic, supply chain or related field

2. At least three years of experience as warehouse supervisor or similar management position

3. Good working English communication ability

4. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management

5. Proficiency in warehouse equipment and facility operation and maintenance will be asset

6. Excellent time management, organization and problem-solving skills

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software

 

Title: Warehouse Supervisor (NOC 12013)

Type: Permanent Full-time

Salary: $29 – $32 per hour

Hours: 35 per week

Location: Unit 283, 317 7 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB T2P 2Z1

Benefit: CPP & EI, 10 days vacation time or 4% vacation pay
