Job duties:

  • Train new employees during orientation and training and communicate with current employees to clarify job descriptions and associated expectations.
  • Compose training guides, onboarding materials and other pertinent papers for the training and other events. 
  • Provide routine, thorough needs analyses to spot skill gaps.
  • Administer employee development, language training, and health and safety programs. 
  • Advise and assist other departmental managers on the interpretation and administration of personnel policies and programs. 
  • Organize and conduct employee information meetings on employment policy, benefits, and compensations, and participate actively on various joint committees.
  • Address skills gaps with customized internal training and when necessary, coordinate external training. 
  • Coordinate with department heads and line managers to keep an eye on the performance of the personnel.
