Born cooking in the early mornings on the fishing boats, savouring the smell of the land and sea. Experience: At least 2 years experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment or the combination of education in cooking and at least one year experience of cooking in a commercial kitchen environment
Job Description:
1- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers and operation
2- Train staff in cooking, preparation and handling of food
3- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
4- Prepare and cook special meals, plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
5- Maintain inventory, and records of food, supplies and equipment
6- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and oversee kitchen operations and staff
7- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies
8- May clean kitchen and work area
