Position: Construction Helper

Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland, BC.

Salary: $27.50 per hour

Job Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons at the work site by providing them tools, equipment, and other materials as required and assist in other activities.
- Load, unload and move construction materials to and from the work site.
- Dig trenches, backfill holes, or compact earth to prepare for construction.
- Install and dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolds, barricades, and signage.
- Remove rubble and debris from the work site.
- Measure, cut, and assemble construction materials under the guidance of skilled tradespersons.
- Clean and prepare surface.
- Maintain open communication with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Mix, pour and spread materials as per tradesman's instructions.
- Make sure that all safety regulations and procedures are always observed.
- Take care of construction equipment, clean it, and store it at safe place after work shift.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and plan for upcoming tasks.
