Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook individual sweet dishes (e.g., barfi, laddu, gulab jamun, rasgulla, ras malai, etc.)
- Plan menus, ensure quality of sweet dishes and determine size of dish proportions.
- Estimates sweets requirements and costs.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of sweets
- Work with specialized cooking equipment such as deep fryer.
- Clean the kitchen and work areas.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Order supplies and equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School
- Completion of college program in cooking/food safety or Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience
- Functional English is required
