Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the movement of goods and materials, including shipping, transportation, and warehousing.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that products are in stock and readily available.
- Collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Preparing and maintaining logistics documentation, such as shipping manifests, delivery schedules, and inventory reports.
- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Tracking and analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement.
- Resolving logistics-related issues, such as delays, damages, and shortages.
- Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
