Responsibilities

Tasks

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who prepare and serve drinks, beverages, and other food items
• Schedule and assign duties to team members and prepare the work schedules
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Maintain records of stock, sales, and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages

Supervision

• 1 to 2 people
• Food and beverage servers
• Food service counter attendants and food preparers
