Responsibilities

Tasks

• Oversee staff performance, provide guidance, train kitchen, and service staff, and address any issues or conflicts that arise.
• Supervise and schedule the activities of the staff who prepare and portion food.
• Monitor the quality of food served, ensuring it meets the restaurant’s standards for taste, presentation, and hygiene.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates and submit regular reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and staff performance.
• Plan and coordinate special events or promotions to attract customers and boost sales.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.
• Address customer complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.
