J.C Atlantic Construction is seeking an experienced Construction project coordinator to join our expanding team of professionals. We are enthusiastic about finding the right person interested in working in our high-performance core values driven culture.

Job duties?
- Assist owner in developing, planning and controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules
- Coordinate and distribute project documentation, including drawings, specifications, permits, contracts,
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to track progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Support the quantity take-off process and assist in preparing cost estimates for minor changes or variations.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Develop, implement, coordinate and document quality control inspections and testing procedures.
- Support safety coordination by distributing safety documentation, tracking safety meeting attendance, logging safety incidents/near misses, and ensuring safety documentation is readily available.
- Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
- Assist in preparing purchase building materials and land acquisitions and subcontract agreements based on project manager direction
Additional Requirement:
- At least 3 years of construction industry experience;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven work experience in construction industry or similar industry is preferred;
- Ability to handle tasks of varying priority as needed while keeping a focus on quality in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of construction terminology, processes, and sequencing.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplined teams
- Development of infographics and other graphic/visual content
- Strong project management skills;
