Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cook to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with our menu and customer preferences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, food safety, and timely food preparation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

• Plan menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and costs

• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

• Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and food safety standards

• Train and supervise kitchen helpers or other kitchen staff as required

• Ensure food is prepared and served according to recipes and presentation standards

• Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages

• Clean kitchen and work areas, including washing utensils and equipment

• Follow all relevant health and safety regulations

• Adapt to special dietary requirements or customer preferences as necessary
