Job Title: Administrative Officer
Work Location: On-site, Winnipeg, MB R2H 1H1
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours of Work: 30–40 hours per week
Salary: $24.00 per hour

Education

  • College/CEGEP

Experience

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events

  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to align with organizational goals

  • Evaluate and oversee daily operations

  • Motivate and support staff to achieve performance objectives

  • Open, review, and distribute mail and other correspondence

  • Plan, organize, and manage day-to-day office operations

  • Establish and implement office policies and procedures

  • Manage contracts and agreements

  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and handle electronic inquiries

  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory records

  • Arrange travel, itineraries, and reservations

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry

  • Consult with clients after sales to provide ongoing support

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities under pressure

  • Proficiency in office software and data entry

  • Experience in HR coordination and policy implementation is an asset
