We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and production equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with pumps, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, and gearboxes.
Assemble and install new machinery or equipment as per specifications.
Fabricate, weld, and modify parts when required.
Collaborate with other technicians, electricians, and engineers to resolve equipment issues.
Maintain accurate service and repair logs.
Follow company safety policies and industry standards at all times.
Completion of a relevant trade certification (e.g., Industrial Mechanic / Millwright) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gears, and alignment procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Welding and fabrication skills are an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Physically fit to handle heavy lifting and work in various environments.
Full-time shifts, with potential overtime, evenings, or weekends as required.
Work may involve standing for long periods, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and industrial environments.
