We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The role involves dent removal, frame and structural repairs, panel replacement, welding, sanding, priming, and refinishing to restore vehicles to manufacturer standards. Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors, frames, and underbody components as per manufacturer specifications.
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and other defects using blocks and hammers.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills using wrenches and cutting torches, then bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
  • Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows, and sunroofs.
  • Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assemblies, carpets, and floorboard insulation.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance, ensuring quality standards are met and rework or warranty claims are minimized.
  • Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns and refinishing tools.
  • Blend and match paint colors to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Calibrate and align vehicle frames, suspensions, and steering components after repairs.
  • Inspect and replace safety-related systems such as airbags and seatbelts when required.
  • Maintain detailed records of repair work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate with estimators and service advisors to review repair plans and timelines.
  • Stay current with industry repair techniques, tools, and safety standards through ongoing training.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and insurance requirements.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school
  • Relevant education OR at least 2-3 years of work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices with the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve repair issues effectively.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work extended or varied hours when required.
