Wage: $36.60 per hour
A bonus may be paid from time-to-time, at the sole discretion of the restaurant manager.
Vacation: 10 days

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Set staff work schedules
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Modify menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Control and maintain inventory
- Understanding of brewery / distillery functions, bottling, canning, excise tax filings
- Understand brewery / distillery production rules and legislation
- Ability to promote Brewery and Distillery products for off sales.
- Plan and organize events including DJ nights, bands and other entertainment.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor, health and safety legislation and regulations
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Provide customer service
- Oversee staff training
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
- Completion of a post-secondary education
- A minimum of two years of restaurant bar-bar-nightclub management or supervisory experience
- Have Serving it Right and Food Safe Certification
- Personal suitability
- Team player
- Be available to work late nights on Fridays and Saturdays
- Be able to taste and create alcoholic beverages
